Toyota Hikes Hybrid Production Globally
According to an article published today on www.hybridcars.com, Toyota aims to double it’s production of hybrids by next year.
Included in this plan is the revival of an idle factory in Blue Springs, Miss. The factory will begin to produce the Prius hybrid once the economic recovery has firmly taken hold.
At Toyota, we currently sell more than 10 hybrid vehicles globally and will be launching new hybrid minivans, subcompacts and luxury cars.
Recently revealed at the Detroit auto show, the FT-CH concept hybrid will be the first addition to the Prius family.
