New Toyota Trucks: 2011 Toyota Tundra Equals More Power

The Toyota Tundra is getting some extra oomph in the 2011 model according to an article on Pickuptrucks.com. With a re-worked engine, this rugged truck will give you more power to help get any job done.

The 2011 Toyota Tundra will offer 270hp and 278 pounds-feet-of-torque, which is a considerable improvement over last year’s model. The variable valve timing system, or VVT, allows the Toyota Tundra to be both powerful and “green” at the same time.

VVT controls the opening and closing of an engine’s intake or exhaust valves or both, which can improve emissions and power levels. – Mike Levine, PickupTrucks.com
