The much anticipated Toyota FT-86 II Concept sports car recently debuted at the 2011 Geneva Auto Show. Despite the buzz resulting from the show, actual photos of the vehicle have been few and far between. As Motor Authority reports, that has all changed thanks to the company’s social media division. Check out the recently released photos and this short video from their trip to Brussels, Belgium to shoot the striking new sports car.

Portland Auto Dealer: Blast From the Past – The Toyota MR2 Becomes a Collectible Classic
Remember the days when the origami-inspired Toyota MR2 ruled the road? Well, Automobile Magazine is paying homage to the 1986 model that graced the cover of their very first issue. In addition to being the focus of the feature article, the MR2 was pitted against a Ferrari 308 and announced the hands-down winner in a comparative test.
The Toyota MR2 was produced from ’85 to ’89, with the supercharger option debuting in 1988. The little sports car has a well-designed ergonomic interior, front and rear trunks, T-top option and flip headlights. Its excellent handling, power on the road and high rpm are features that first put the MR2 ahead of the game and contribute to it’s classic status.
Could we start to see the MR2 back in action? We’ll leave it up to the collectors for that.
